One-Year Warranty:

The one-year warranty covers defects occurring from expansion and contraction and/or material problems. This includes cracking, warping, checking, separation of squares, separation of joints, separation of the board layers. Damage resulting from misuse such as exposure to moisture, excess heat, excess cold, or excess sunlight; or dropping and/or striking is not covered. The warranty starts on the day the payment is received.

If damage occurs, the item will have to be shipped back at the buyers expense. Then the item will be repaired, replaced, or your money refunded. The method (repair, replace, refund) will be my choice. The reason for this is since I am the only one making the chess boards it may not be possible to use one method or another (like if I have a broken arm, repairing is not an option!) If the board is repaired or replaced and you are in the U.S., I will pay to have the board shipped back to you via insured UPS Ground. If you are outside the U.S. I will pay 25% or up to $25.00 (which ever is less) of the cost of shipping the board back to you via USPS Global Priority Mail.

30-Day Return Policy:

This item can be returned for any reason for 30 days from the date of purchase. The refund amount will be the purchase price plus any tax, shipping charges are non refundable. The refund will be granted upon return of the item. Buyer incurs return shipping charges.
