CustomChess.com gift certificates can be used to purchase any product in our store, including custom orders. If you are purchasing the certificate as a gift, you can enter the e-mail of the recipient along with a personal message and they will be e-mailed the gift certificate code. You will also be e-mailed the gift certificate code.
Remaining balance:
You can check the remaining balance of the gift certificate at any time here, or by going directly to http://www.customchess.com/cert.asp and entering your gift certificate code.
Multiple Certificates:
You may use multiple gift certificates on a single order by entering multiple gift certificate codes in the gift certificate box on the checkout screen (separate each code with a comma). This is useful if you wish to purchase a gift certificate in an odd amount. For example, if you wanted to purchase a certificate for $310.00, you would buy one for $300, and one for $10.00. This feature is also nice if a group of people want to purchase a higher priced gift for a single person. Each member of the group can pitch in by purchasing their own gift certificate for the recipient.
Balance Refund:
You may request the refund of a gift certificate balance once the balance drops below 25% of the original certificate value. Please contact orders@customchess.com to request a refund.
Restrictions:
You can use a gift certificate for any product we offer except for other gift certificate (ie you can not use a gift certificate to purchase another gift certificate). Also, they can be used by any person who has the code.
Expiration:
Gift certificates are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
Delivery
The gift certificate details and code are automatically sent to you and the recipient (if specified) via e-mail. If you want to have the gift certificate details/code sent to you or the recipient by regular mail as well as e-mail, check the appropriate button below. If requested, the certificate details, code, and personal message will be mailed to the address entered in the shipping address section of the checkout. The certificate will be sent via USPS Certified Mail and costs $3.00.
